HR Generalist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced HR Generalist to join our dynamic team. The HR Generalist will play a crucial role in supporting various human resources functions, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and contributing to the overall success of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of HR practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, resume screening interviewing, and candidate selection
  • Coordinate and conduct new employee orientation to facilitate a smooth onboarding process and ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.

2. Employee Relations:

  • Address and resolve employee relations issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Conduct investigations into workplace incidents and provide recommendations for resolution.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive work environment

3. Conflict Management:

  • Act as a primary point of contact for employee relations matters
  • Resolve workplace conflicts, conduct investigations, and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures

4. Performance Management:

  • Administer performance appraisal processes, providing guidance to employees and managers
  • Support managers in identifying and addressing performance issues
  • Assist in the development and implementation of performance improvement plans

5. Training and Development:

  • Identify training needs and coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
  • Support career development initiatives and succession planning.
  • Facilitate training sessions on HR-related topics

6. HR Policies and Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Update and maintain HR policies and procedures in alignment with legal requirements and industry best practices

7. Compensation & Benefits Management:

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks
  • Address employee inquiries regarding benefits and facilitate open enrolment processes
  • Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries

8. HR Data Management & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and databases
  • Generate reports and analyse HR metrics to support decision-making & compliance purposes

9. Employee Engagement:

  • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction
  • Organize company events and activities to promote a positive workplace culture
  • Coordinate employee recognition programs

10. Qualifications:

  • Relevant education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10 years of proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficient in HRMS and standard MS Office applications.
