Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced HR Generalist to join our dynamic team. The HR Generalist will play a crucial role in supporting various human resources functions, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and contributing to the overall success of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of HR practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, resume screening interviewing, and candidate selection
- Coordinate and conduct new employee orientation to facilitate a smooth onboarding process and ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
2. Employee Relations:
- Address and resolve employee relations issues in a timely and effective manner
- Conduct investigations into workplace incidents and provide recommendations for resolution.
- Promote a positive and inclusive work environment
3. Conflict Management:
- Act as a primary point of contact for employee relations matters
- Resolve workplace conflicts, conduct investigations, and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures
4. Performance Management:
- Administer performance appraisal processes, providing guidance to employees and managers
- Support managers in identifying and addressing performance issues
- Assist in the development and implementation of performance improvement plans
5. Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
- Support career development initiatives and succession planning.
- Facilitate training sessions on HR-related topics
6. HR Policies and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Update and maintain HR policies and procedures in alignment with legal requirements and industry best practices
7. Compensation & Benefits Management:
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks
- Address employee inquiries regarding benefits and facilitate open enrolment processes
- Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries
8. HR Data Management & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and databases
- Generate reports and analyse HR metrics to support decision-making & compliance purposes
9. Employee Engagement:
- Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction
- Organize company events and activities to promote a positive workplace culture
- Coordinate employee recognition programs
10. Qualifications:
- Relevant education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10 years of proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficient in HRMS and standard MS Office applications.
